Beautiful location, enjoyed the estuary views from our room and bar/restaurant. Very helpful staff, very warm welcome, lots of attention to detail/extras not expected. Had it rained, wellies were available. Very cosy room felt very comfortable.

There are always faults to find with any place of you want to. I could bemoan the woeful lack of parking in a steep, hilly place BUT they try to help and we did bag on of the available spots they have so no complaints. Staff lovely, very nice bar manager, but most of all THE VIEWS! Fab for a relaxing getaway in one of my favourite towns.

A huge thank you to Kat, Bonney and everyone there for their outstanding hospitality. We had a small issue upon arrival, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made all the difference. I’ve honestly never seen staff so genuinely devoted to helping guests, it was heartwarming and unforgettable. The rest of the stay was perfect, a generous and delicious breakfast, a spotless room with a beautiful view, a super comfortable bed, and a modern Smart TV. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. You’ll be in great hands and warmly welcomed. Thanks again to the whole team!

Stayed in a superior double room. Comfy big and high bed (though I had to climb up there), calming and good quality Bramley toiletries scents, tidy room and free gin! The Nespresso area is white so there're coffee stains that didn't want to come off. To use a kettle, I had to move it to another desk area. This is trivial as everything else in the room (inland) is great. Continental breakfast is alright. I'd say not many options but enough. Ham, mixed berry greek yoghurt, berry compote, prunes and toast with butter and marmalade are delicious. Gluten-free flapjack is interesting (not bad but different). Gluten-free banana bread is sooo dry. Croissant today is dry too (maybe it was made the day before?). Pain au raisin, pain au chocolate and blueberry muffin are alright. Overnight oats with coconut milk were weird. Cooked breakfast costs £10 extra. Dinner at the hotel was great, apart from the very salty samphire in the salmon dish. The scallops, lamb, trio of chocolate and blood orange sorbet were yummy!

Had a three night stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. The location on the harbour front is spectacular and the restaurant and most of the rooms make good use of this. Access is down a narrow lane and take great care choosing your route. I had to negotiate a sharp turn and scraped a chunk of trim off on a low wall. I saw someone else with a gash in the same spot. We dropped off our luggage and the central car park above has very reasonable pricing if you buy a weekly ticket. We had breakfast every day, an afternoon tea and one dinner. All the meals were excellent and the staff are attentive and friendly. It's only a short walk to the town centre and many other eating options. One tip in room choice. We were in 404 which was under the restaurant so a little bit of noise when the tables were being re-arranged. It was also opposite the gents loo so the hand dryer was an occasional interruption. The hotel meets the high standards we have experienced when visiting other members of the chain. We will use them again.

A short walk from Fowey town centre, this hotel offers an amazing location for short (or longer) stays. Our "superior" room was very comfortable, spacious, and had amazing views out over the river and harbour. Food in the restaurant for dinner was excellent, and the continental breakfast was so good that we didn't bother with the cooked options, which came with an extra charge. Lovely staff, and a very enjoyable long weekend.

Stayed 2 nights on a bed breakfast and dinner option The positives: All staff very friendly and efficient especially in the bar and restaurant. Decor was quirky and smart, beautiful views. The food was well presented and delicious and very good quality Gin and tonic in the room and a coffee pod machine Negative Probably the most uncomfortable bed ever. Two beds together to make a king size covered with lumpy misfitting topper. Duvet too small for cover leaving a foot of spare cover at the top Pillows were long but no filling. Given this was a superior sea view I expected better. The

A lovely stay! Despite the mad weather, I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful hotel. Lovely touches such as gin (although they could provide complimentary Tonic!), lovely bramley products and amazing views. The bar had great views and was a lovely spot for breakfast. My only complaint would be to charge for the cooked breakfast with the rooms rather than an additional bill.
